Seiko HCC007J1
For the second installment of Seiko’s 145 anniversary commemorative limited-edition watches, which feature a special “Seiko Blue” inspired look, the HCC007J1 watch will be offered.
The feature of this model is the introduction of cobalt blue glaze for the first time in the line of Presage Arita porcelain. Each single dial is painstakingly crafted by the master craftsmen of Arita, the kiln team leader, Toshiaki Kawaguchi, and his artisans, under the careful supervision of Hiroyuki Hashiguchi of the historic Arita manufacturer, which has been established since 1830.
The organic depth, soft gradations, and the very subtle unique texture that can be seen on these porcelain dials is a natural characteristic of the handmade and high firing process.
